Fashions In Time Turns 2

There is a gorgeous group in Ballarat that meet once a month to discuss fashion, its history, the culture that surrounds it and its impact on who we are today. I was delighted to be invited to their second birthday party, as this would mean taking a few delightful snaps of fashion worn by fashion lovers.

Love a pair of french heeled stockings. I'd love a pair of these. Don't you just wish there were indestructible stockings?

A vintage shoe from my days as a shop assistant at Decades of Fashion, when I paid for work in clothes. This is still my dream job, but now as a much older woman I appreciate the opportunity I had.

My Aunt in my grandmother's silver fox.

A group shot of those attending the celebrations.

The exquisite dress my Aunt collected during her last trip to England.

This hairstyle is nothing short of incredible. Thus I have dedicated three photos to it just to give you the full effect.

My stunning sister. In a classic white suit.

Plenty of the group brought out their fabulous hats.

My sister and I. She looks a lot more gorgeous after a long day than I do. I'm almost too embarrassed by my hair to show these pictures.
